Coronavirus Statement

At Just Cats Hospital, taking care of clients and patients is at the center of everything we do.
Even as we navigate these times of uncertainty and change, our priority – you and your pet – remains the same.

Rest assured we are doing everything in our power to make certain your experience with us is rewarding and safe.

Even as we navigate these times of uncertainty and change, our priority – you and your pet – remains the same. Rest assured we are doing everything in our power to make certain your experience with us is rewarding and safe.

The good news is that there is no evidence that cats can be infected with the COVID-19 virus. (Cats have their own coronaviruses that are unrelated and cannot be transferred to people.) Just Cats Hospital already has infectious disease protocols in place and we are taking extra steps to ensure the health and well-being of both clients and employees during the COVID-19 outbreak.

We will continue to schedule sick and preventive care appointments as normal. Rest assured that we are disinfecting between each appointment and that we are not accepting appointments with sick human clients. Clients who are in the building that are showing any signs of illness will be asked to drop off their pet and pay over the phone to avoid contact. Credit card machine, pens and electronic pen signer are disinfected between each client.

Clients concerned about coming into the building have the option of dropping off their pet and either waiting in the car or returning at a later time in the day. A staff member will come get your pet from the car and return your pet to you upon completion of treatment. All cats must be in a carrier. Carriers will be disinfected before being returned to the car.

Clients that are concerned about picking up medications that live within a 5mile radius of the clinic may pay over the phone and Dr. Pizzuli will take medications to the clients. We will call prior to delivery and deliveries will be placed on the porch for pick up. This will be offered free of charge during the outbreak.

Clients picking up medication can pay over the phone. We will take the medications to the car upon arrival.

Any employee who has known exposure to COVID-19 or who is showing signs will be directed to seek medical advice and will not return to work until cleared by a medical doctor.

Our doors remain open to serve you, and we hope to see you soon. If you can’t make it in, give us a call or email and we’ll happily help you.
